Hi! I’m Luke, a photographer, husband, father & your go to wedding photographer based just outside of Colchester!
I’d class my photography as candid and a more natural approach. Although we can selfie till our hearts content, a lot of people don’t feel comfortable in-front of a camera that someone else is shoving in their face, so being a candid photographer, helps me really capture those unscripted, emotional and sentimental moments!
Whether it’s the groom secretly wiping a tear from his cheek when his beautiful bride is walking down the aisle (or full blown blubbering if you were anything like me when I got married), that cheeky little grin of a little one running around or that goofy moment that you share with each other than no one else sees!
My job is to help you feel as comfortable and relaxed as can be on your important day, and capturing those genuine moments as we go along!

Where are you based?
I am based in Braintree just outside Colchester in Essex!
Do you travel?
I am based in Essex, but I am happy to travel all over the country and aboard.
Do you always edit the same style?
Absolutely! My editing style is a key part of my artistic vision. By maintaining a consistent style, I ensure that every photo I deliver reflects the quality and creativity my clients expect.
Do you cover LGBTQ+ weddings?
Absolutely! I would be honored to cover LGBTQ+ weddings. I believe in capturing the love and joy of every couple, regardless of gender or orientation.
Do you offer drone photography?
Absolutely, I provide drone photography! It's a fantastic way to capture unique perspectives. Just keep in mind that it's weather dependent, so we’ll need to plan accordingly to get the best possible footage.
Can we have a chat before we book you?
Of course! I encourage a chat before you book in. This can be done in person or via Zoom or a phone call!
How do we book you?
All I need to secure your date is a booking form to be filled out and returned along with your £150 deposit.
What time do you start and finish?
I start 2.5 hours before the ceremony, and finish 30-60 minutes after the first dance. This can be tailored to match your needs.
Do you require a meal?
It is a long day, and I’ve got to eat! You aren’t obliged to provide a meal, but please let me know in advance if one is or isn’t provided so that I can make arrangements if needed.
How long will it be until we can see our pictures?
Previews will be available within 48 hours and full gallery will usually be 5-7 weeks after the wedding day.
Do you take group shots?
Yes. I always ask for a small list of group shots that we can do straight after the main group photo. I aim to finish the group shot session between 20-30 minutes. Ushers can be very helpful to gather people required for pictures during this period!
Do you have any insurance?
Yes, of course, some venues require to see this.
Can we print our photos?
Of course you can! They are your pictures!
Do you provide RAW files?
Nope! Sorry.
